PURPOSE:To input a simple layout document simply by forming the layout of a document on the basis of a control ruled line and inputting a sentence or the like while referring to the control ruled line. CONSTITUTION:An instruction inputted from an input part 1 is analyzed by a processing part 4 to control the transmission/reception of data between respective parts. A ruled line formation part 6 forms a ruled line or a control ruled line and writes the formed line on a text data 5 on the basis of a ruled line formation instruction inputted from the input part 1. A control ruled line discriminating part 7 discriminates whether a character to be printed out is a control ruled line or not at the printing of the text data 5, and when the character to be printed out is the control ruled line, a control ruled line replacing part 8 replaces the control ruled line code by a space code. |
