<p>PURPOSE:To aim at improvements in chip removal and operation efficiency, by constituting a device so as to press a printed board forcibly onto a platelike jig, having a larger diametral hole than a drill diameter, with a hollow pressure foot with a dust collector, in case of the chip eliminator for a numerically- controlled superhigh-speed drilling machine. CONSTITUTION:A layered printed circuit board W is drilled by a drill 5, and when it is pierced through, a hole 10 of a platelike jig 9 is interconnected to the inside of a pressure foot 11 at the upper part, and with suction negative pressure in a dust collector 10, air flowing in the hole 10 by way of a permeable work table 8 goes up through space between the drill 5 and a hole wall 18 whereby chips are blown away with its stream. These chips are inhaled into a dust collector 13 run past the inside of the pressure foot 11. With this constitution, chip removal is amply performed so that prevention against damage to the hole wall, prolongation of service life in the drill and improvements in operation efficiency are all promotable.</p> |
