PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of a handset for cordless telephone set by detecting a power voltage and turning off automatically a power switch when the voltage is lower than a set level. CONSTITUTION:A voltage detecting circuit 11 is connected in parallel with a power supply 1. The voltage detection circuit 11 measures a voltage of the power supply 1 when a power switch element 12 is turned on and outputs a detection signal K when the voltage is lower than the preset level. A talking changeover switch element 13 is provided between the power supply 1 and a transmission circuit 8. A control means 14 consists of a microcomputer 15, a control key section 16 and a pushbutton section 3. The control key section 16 has a power key 17 and a talking key 18, and the microcomputer 15 turns on the switch element 12 when the power key 17 is turned on and turns on the switch 13 when the talking key 18 is turned on and turns off both the switch elements 12, 13 when an output of the detection signal K exists to activate a display means 19. |
