PURPOSE:To inform an operator of the burn-out of a turn signal lamp, according to a method wherein the burn-out is automatically detected without distinction of night and day, and a cornering lamp is flashed in place of the turn signal lamp. CONSTITUTION:Circuits according to the invention include a first current detecting circuit for detecting the output current of a turn signal unit 1 driving the group of a plurality of turn signal lamps by means of pulses. The circuits includes a second current detecting circuit 5 for detecting the current flowing through the specific turn signal lamp in the group of the turn signal lamps. Further, the circuits include a control circuit 9 for lighting a cornering lamp when the currents detected by the first and the second detecting circuits 4 and 5 are not balanced. Therefore, an operator is informed of the burn-out by flashing the selected cornering lamp in the right or left side when the turn signal lamp burns out, and a turn signal switch is operated. |
