PRODUCTION OF COMPOSITE METALLIC PLATE

摘要

PURPOSE:To combine safely and inexpensively different kinds of metallic plates to each other and to suppress the deterioration of the properties of the composite plate by inserting a thin sheet consisting of a Cu-Mn alloy between the adhered surfaces of the different metallic plates. CONSTITUTION:The thin sheet consisting of the Cu-Mn alloy is inserted into the adhering surfaces of the metallic plates which are different in kind from each other such as iron or steel and stainless steel or ferritic stainless steel and austenitic stainless steel and the plates are heated in an inert atmosphere such as nitrogen to melt the thin sheet and to combine the metallic plates to form the composite plate in the stage of laminating the above-mentioned different metallic plates. The content of Mn in the Cu-Mn alloy is made preferably 8-40wt% and the melting temp. can be made about <=100 deg.C in this range.
