PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts thus to reduce the cost by utilizing the pushing of an actuator for a microswitch provided in a sheet positioning device of a copier as the click for movable sheet guide in the sheet positioning device. CONSTITUTION:The sheet material guide in a facsimile is provided with a positioning section having two guides 5, 6 on the document table 3. Each guide 5, 6 is interlocked through a pinion 16 gearable simultaneously with the racks 8, 9 fixed to the guides 5, 6. Rotary members 10, 11; 14, 15 supported rotatably on each rack 8, 9 are fitted in two elongated holes 18, 19 formed in the document table 3 while extending perpendicularly against the document carrying direction thus to slide each guide 5, 6 smoothly. Here, the actuator of microswitch 17 is contacted against a member 24 projecting from the guide 5 thus to produce desired click feeling. |
