PURPOSE:To reduce the amt. of fine silica powder to be used by physically mixing and dispersing the silica powder into a carrier and a negatively chargeable toner powder or said toner contg. the carrier each in a powder state. CONSTITUTION:The fine silica powder having a particle diameter of 1-100mum, preferably, 5-60mum is physically mixed and dispersed into the carrier and the electrostatically negatively chargeable toner powder or the toner contg. the carrier each in a powder state to prepare the electrostatic latent image developing dry developer. The fine silican powder is added in this case of obtaining such a ternary developer in an amt. of 0.5-5pts.wt., optimally, 2-6pts. wt. per 100pts.wt. of the toner. |
