PURPOSE:To eliminate consideration with respect to matching of an interface at connecting a measuring device and to lighten the burden imposed on a maintenance crew by incorporating a test means on a multiplexer. CONSTITUTION:A test part 8 equipped on the multiplexer has a test pattern generator and an error detection mechanism, input a test signal TP outputted from an output terminal (a) to the input terminal (a) of a reception/transmission unit 1, receives the test signal TP outputted from the output terminal (b) of the input terminal (a) at the input terminal (h) of the test part 5, and checks it. In this case, the output terminal OT and the input terminal IN of a multiplex part 4 are previously connected. The terminal (g) of the test part 5 and the input terminal (a) of the reception/transmission unit 1 are linked, and the test signal TP is inputted to the terminal (a). The test signal TP is passed through the multiplex part 4 from the reception/transmission unit 1, returned from the output terminal OT, and inputted to the multiplex part 4 from the input terminal IN, after which it enters again the reception/transmission unit 1 and outputted to the output terminal (b). Thus maintenance becomes easy. |
