PURPOSE:To improve the automation of a manufacturing process and the stability of the oscillating frequency and the oscillating strength by wrapping in the second holding member in the same plane shape by the first holding member, holding a crystal element at the U-shaped holding device, bonding the container from the inside and outside and airtight-sealing. CONSTITUTION:A holding device 10 is formed by press-processing and etching processing the metal and the first U-shaped holding member 11 is formed in the shape to wrap in the second holding member 12. By mounting a crystal element 13 on the holding device and applying, heating and hardening conductive adhesives 14, the crystal element 13 is mechanically held and an electrode 15 for excitation at the surface side is electrically connected to the holding member 11 and the electrode for excitation at the rear side is electrically connected to the holding member 12 respectively. By making longer respectively the distance from a fixing part 18 with the holding members 11 and 12 and the case 16 to the position 14 bonding the crystal element 13, the action to smooth a mechanical stress and thermal stress applied from the external part to the crystal element works and the performance is stable. Thus, the automation of the manufacturing process can be easily realized and the material with excellent stability of the oscillating frequency and oscillating strength can be obtained.
