Date Dec. 8, 1983.A tool for turning a rotatable element for example, nuts, bolts or screws, the tool including a body having a drive head at one end of a handle which consists of a fixed portion and a movable portion connected by a flexible cable to an element driving socket via side plate pawl and ratchet teeth so that movement of the movable handle portion towards the fixed handle portion causes rotation of the socket while during movement of the movable handle portion away from the fixed handle portion by the action of a return spring, the socket is prevented from rotation by another pawl and the ratchet teeth.
