PURPOSE:To improve the grinding ratio of abrasive grain and a grinding wheel made of said grains by coating the abrasive grain with special resin. CONSTITUTION:The surface of abrasive grain is coated with ladder silicon resin having organic and inorganic characteristics. Then said grains are bonded with thermoplastic resin (phenol resin, for example) to produce a grinding wheel having high grinding ratio.
