PURPOSE:To obtain sufficiently dense printing with a low developing bias voltage by irradiating light simultaneously with development to reduce the resistance of a photosensitive body and to keep the electrostatic capacity of a photosensitive body at a high level. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body 21 is uniformly by a corona discharger 24, and then exposed from its back side by a light emitting diode array 26 in accordance with an image pattern, positively charged toner is adhered to the surface of the photosensitive body 21 by a magnetic brush developing device 25 to which an developing bias voltage is applied on the basis of its electric field to form a toner image. In addition, a negative voltage is applied to a corona discharger 28 to apply negative corona ions to recording paper 29, so that the charged toner image is electrostatically transferred to the recording paper 29. Then, the residual toner is removed by a brush cleaner 23. |
