PURPOSE:To obtain the titled embryo paste having high embryo content and excellent palatability and preservability, by kneading roast embryo with fluid shortening, grinding to fine particles to obtain embryo paste, and kneading the paste with roast flaky embryo coated with hardened oil. CONSTITUTION:Roast embryo is kneaded with fluid shortening after or without crushing, optionally in the presence of one or more components such as seasoning, spieces, emulsifier, antioxidant, etc., and ground until the diameter of the embryo particle becomes <=80mum. Separately, flaky embryo is roasted, and coated with a hardened oil optionally in the presence of one or more components such as seasoning, species emulsifier, antioxidant, etc. to obtain roast embryo flakes. The embryo flakes are mixed with the embryo paste prepared above, and the mixture is kneaded to obtain the objective embryo paste. |
