PURPOSE:To minimize a damage due to fading, etc., by changing over the output of the integrating device except a main tap to a voltage value set optionally beforehand, and returning to an ordinary action mode when a synchronizing step-out signal output or an error ratio signal output perishes. CONSTITUTION:When the synchronizing step-out signal output of a decoder connected to the output of a transversal type automatic equalizer by a fading, etc., occurs, an action mode change-over device 106 is operated by the output of the synchronizing step-out signal, a change-over switch 105P is operated and changed over and connected to voltage adjusting devices 100P-103P. The voltage adjusting devices 100P-103P output a constant voltage, stops the automatic equalizing function of a transversal type automatic equalizer and executes the fixed equalization. When the synchronizing step-out signal output of a demodulator is eliminated and the action mode change-over device 106 is recovered, the change-over switch 105P is also recovered and returns to an automatic control condition again. Thus, a confusion such as fading which occurs when much distortions exists at the line, is removed and a more stable action can be executed. |
