PURPOSE:To enable a capacity of heat exchanging operation at a heat exchanger to be improved by a method wherein beams of the intake grill and the suction guards are in parallel with the copper pipe constituting the heat exchanger and positioned out of the projected plane of the copper pipes. CONSTITUTION:A depth size C of the blowing grill beams 7 is made large in such a way as it may overlap an air guiding plate 2 by a size D and further a depth C' at the stabilizer 3 is made larger than the depth size C at the air guiding plate 2 to cause the suction guard plate beams 9 to be placed out of the size A of the projected plane A of the copper pipes 5. With this arrangement, the blowing air is regulated to improve a characteristic of the fan and then a capacity of the heat exchanger can be improved and at the same time a decrease in capacity of the heat exchanger caused by a short circuit can be prevented. A thermal conductivity of air in the heat exchanger is improved with disturbance generated at the downstream side of the suction guard beams and thus a capacity of the heat exchanging operation can be improved.
