PURPOSE:To improve a contrast of an image by providing a silver halide emulsion layer contg. the compd. shown by a specific formula on both surfaces of a substrate, and by incorporating to a layer of the obtd. emulsion layers, a Magenta filter and a yellow filter forming substances. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide emulsion layer contg. at least one of the compds. shown by formulas I, II and III wherein R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are each an alkyl group, R6 is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, R7 and R9 are each a lower alkyl group, R8 and R10 are each a lower alkyl group, X<->1, X<->2 and X<->3 are each anion, Z1 and Z2 are a nonmetallic atom necessary to form a benzene ring, (n) is 1 or 2, is provided on both surfaces of the substrate. The Magenta filter and the yellow filter forming substances are incorporated to at least one of the above described emulsion layers. |
