PURPOSE:To obtain an image having a good sensitivity and less tendency for generating a fog by providing on both sides of a substrate each a silver halide emulsion layer which contains a tetrazaindene compd. and also adds a specific compd. in the emulsion layer before or after incorporating the tetrazaindene compd. to said layer. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is prepared by forming on both surfaces of the substrate at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contg. the tetrazaindene compd. and then by incorporating to the predescribed layer before or after adding the tetrazaindene compd., at least one of the compds. shown by formulas I, II and III wherein R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are each an alkyl, an alkenyl and an aryl groups, R7 and R9 are each a lower alkyl group, R6 is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, R8 and R10 are each a lower alkyl group, X<->1, X<->2 and X<->3 are each anion, Z1 and Z2 are a nonmetallic atom necessary to form a benzene ring, (n) is 1 or 2. |
