PURPOSE:To easily perform the manufacturing of a heat pipe regardless of the size and the predetermined location of a body to be installed by a structure wherein only a main container is selectively expanded in the diameter of its tubular portion when the inner pressure is strikingly increased. CONSTITUTION:A pouring metal capillary 4 airtightly connects a main container 1 with a sub-container 2 in order to allow to freely flow liquid therethrough. In addition, respective metal capillary 3, 4 and 5 and the sub-container 2 are made enough stronger in structure on pressure resistance than the main container 1. Thus, the main container 1 is inserted at the predetermined position in a hole to be insertedly contacted, the inside diameter of which is larger by the size so as to allow the main container to slide-fit or press-fit than the outside diameter of the main container 1 in a body for a heat pipe to be installed therein. After that, the sub-container 2 is heated so as to raise the temperature of working liquid up to the predetermined temperature in order to expand the volume of the working liquid, resulting in raising the inner pressure in the whole containers so as to selectively expand in the diameter of the tubular portion of the main container, which is relatively weaker on pressure resistance, in order to pressure-weld the main container to the inner wall of the hole to be insertedly attached. |
