PURPOSE:To attain copying even if an original is not carried up to the surface of an original platen of a copying machine by forming an image on the outside of a case covering the original platen on the surface of the original board. CONSTITUTION:The case 5 covers the original platen 3 of the copying machine and a lens 7 is mounted on a opening part of the case 5. An image on the outside of the case is formed on the surface of the original platen 3 through a lens 7 and reflectors 8, 9. When the case 5 is mounted, a magnetic switch 56 is turned on because of the approach of a magnet. It the copying operation when the case 5 is mounted, lighting of an exposure lamp is inhibited by turning on the magnetic switch 10.
