PURPOSE:To increase the accuracy in stop action of a cargo handling device by arranging a positioning device for a cargo delivery device which travels as required on a specified path, and arranging numbers of fittings to be engaged, by which the positioning device is engaged with a shelf pool section and the cargo handling device. CONSTITUTION:A cargo delivery device 5 travels along a specified path. During the travelling operation, a cargo delivery action is accomplished between a cargo handling device arranged along the both sides of the specified path and a shelf pool section by way of a pallet 4 through the combining action of an elevator 12 with a push-pull mechanism 14. When the device 5 is at rest, a lifting plate 31 is lowered by actuating a power cylinder 32 of a positioning device 27 which is attached on a travelling frame 11 of the device 5 by way of a bracket 28. And then a guide plate 35 is engaged with a fitting to be engaged 22 which is arranged at both the shelf pool section and the cargo handling device while a lever 34 of the guide roller is swung against the pressure of a spring 36. This configuration enables the device 5 to take the corrective action of position error and to accomplish the proper positioning. |
