PURPOSE:To assemble a magnetic head with an excellent working efficiency by forming a groove used for winding a coil and a hole after a core is adhered. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 8,..., 9,... are formed on a pair of blocks 6, 7... composed of a magnetic material in a rectangular shape so that projecting parts 6a,..., 7a,... can have track width. Then a pair of blocks 6 and 7 are adhered, and simultaneously a glass 10 is packaged in the grooves 8,..., 9,.... The blocks 6 and 7 are cut, retaining the projecting parts 6a,..., 7a,... to take out a chip 11, and the contact face 11a with a magnetic tape is polished to the prescribed shape. Afterwards, the selection and adjustment for reducing the variance of the gap depth accuracy for forming grooves 12 and 12 winding the coil and the hole 13 are made unnecessary, thereby improving the working efficiency. |
