PURPOSE:To improve remarkably the travel property under the environment of a higher humidity than usual by equipping a magnetic metallic thin film on a nonmagnetic base and executing vapor deposition after an energy line is selectively irradiated. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic metallic thin film 2 is formed on the surface of the nonmagnetic base 1 by plating, preferably vapor deposition. Then the energy line is selectively irradiated on the surface of the magnetic metallic think film 2, and the irradiated part 3 and non-irradiated part 4 of the energy line are formed. After that, a vapor deposition formed part 5 and vapor deposition non-formed part 5 are provided by applying vapor deposition on the surface. At this time, the vapor deposition formation is not carried out in the part corresponding to the irradiated part 3 of the energy line, whereas the vapor deposition formation is done in the non-irradiated part 4. In order to clarify the vapor deposition formed part and the vapor deposition non-formed part, heating the base after the vapor deposition is desirable.
