PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing of a sealed type lead storage battery without necessitating terminals by forming half-size battery jars with a conductive resin portion and a non-conducting resin portion, and uniting the half-size battery jars each other at the non-conducting resin portions to form a battery jar for the sealed type lead storage battery. CONSTITUTION:Half-size cylindrical battery jars 1, 1' are formed by integrating a conductive resin portion 2 with a non-conducting resin portion 3 provided at the end thereof. And active material 4 for a positive pole is filled into one of the half-size battery jars 1, and active material 5 for a negative pole is filled into the other of the half-size battery jars 1', and a separator 6 is interposed therebetween, and thus a sealed type lead storage battery is formed by uniting and sealing the non-conducting resin portions 3 each other. Accordingly, it is unnecessary to provide specific terminals, and therefore the problem of its corrosion is not generated, and it is possible to make the performance stable, and to extremely simplify the manufacturing of the sealed type lead storage battery. |
