PURPOSE:To finish beautifully a composite item consisting of a synthetic resin or the like and a sheetlike material without wrinkles or folds on the sheetlike material, by fusing securely a material such as a synthetic resin or the like to the undersurface of a sheetlike material to which network segments are secured thereby forming segments to the sheetlike material surface. CONSTITUTION:Network recesses 3 are formed in a mold 1 of a compression molder, a material 4 such as a synthetic resin or the like is placed, the molds 1, 2 are the material 4 are fused, the sheetlike material 5 is placed, and a hydraulic cylinder 7, for example, is actuated to press by the molds 1, 2 the network segments 6 in the network recesses 3 to be fused onto the surface of the sheetlike material 5. Network recesses 3a are formed in the mold 1a of an injection molder, and become in communication with an injection port when a synthetic resin or the like is injected. When the sheetlike material 5a is pressed by the molds 1a, 2a, and a material 4a such as a melted resin or the like is injected, the synthetic resin or the like is fused onto the sheetlike material such as cloth, and when the synthetic resin is cooled and solidified, the network segments 6 corresponding to the recesses 3a of the mold 1a are formed on the surface of the sheetlike material 5a. |
