PURPOSE:To improve space efficiency and to enable continuous separation by disposing plural stages of conveyers in zigzag in such a manner that the lower the conveyers are positioned, the higher the speed is, to which a hopper is connected in a separation device for counting parts different in form. CONSTITUTION:Parts 2 in a hopper 1 are continuously supplied to the right 3'' of the first conveyer 3 to be transported in direction of an arrow A. As this conveyer is driven at the lowest speed, the interval Xa between the parts is very small. Subsequently, the parts are dropped on the next conveyer 4 at the right end 3' to be moved in direction of an arrow B. The conveyer 4 is driven at higher speed than the conveyer 3 so that the interval Xb between the parts is larger than Xa. Thus, in conveyers 5-7, the intervals Xc-Xe between the parts are gradually increased until when the parts drop in a hole of a sensor 8, the interval is large enough to count the parts. In this arrangement, the parts can be continuously separated and counted correctly without an increase in space. |
