PURPOSE:To fit a general-purpose paper feeder even to a copying machine having a different paper feeding speed by controlling the copying machine or the like to change the paper feeding speed of the paper feeder in response to the paper speed of the copying machine. CONSTITUTION:In the motor control circuit 300 of a paper feeder, a PWM controlling counter 40 and a ROM are incorporated in a microcomputer 34, and an operation command signal 36 and a speed command signal 37 from a copying machine main body are read via an I/F circuit 35. The rotating speed of a motor 33 is measured by an encoder 38, its two-phase pulse train outputs are processed with resolution-up 39 and counted by a counter 40 to obtain the motor speed and also detect 41 the rotating direction. A PWM control signal is applied to a motor driver 42 based on the difference between this speed data and the signal 37, and the pulse signal duty factor is adjusted to obtain the fixed rotation in consistency with the signal 37. Here, the signal 37 is an 8-bit binary signal, turns 64 speeds of the motor 33 can be obtained, and the same paper feeder can be fitted to the copying machine having a different speed. |
