PURPOSE:To adjust the flow rate of grain in the flowing chute in the preceding stage and to obtain a substantially constant and stabled grain flow by operating a flow control valve of a grain storing hopper in the subsequent stage according to the flow condition of grain in the grain flow way of a grain riser in the preceding stage. CONSTITUTION:When a reference amount of grain raised by a grain riser 8 in the preceding stage is collected in a grain tank 10, a flow control valve 17 provided in a grain storing hopper 12 is opened at a reference opening degree. Increasing and decreasing change of amount of grain in the grain tank 10 is detected by a grain detector 27 composed of a plurality of grain detecting sensors 26, and the detection signal is used to adjust the opening degree of the flow control valve 17. Therefore, grain flows down stably at a hopper and substantially constant flow rate with a flow chute 11 filled with grain, and various devices in the subsequent stages are stably supplied with grain at a substantially constant flow rate. Thus, maximum mechanical performance is achieved and mass production of finished or adjusted grain of high quality becomes possible. |
