The feed delivers silage in metered quantities laterally from a block supported by prongs at the bottom of a vertical frame. It comprises a supporting frame movable up and down on the vertical frame and equipped with scraper tools moving in the horizontal direction. The tools (16,18) travel along oval paths in vertical planes and whose axes run horizontally in the transverse direction.
