PURPOSE:To form clear patterns even where a color copy in a sublimable dye is used as an original for transfer, by providing an acryl-melamine thermosetting resin film layer on the surface of an aluminum material provided with an oxide film layer. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an aluminum material used as a base material is preliminarily subjected to oxidation to provide an oxide film, and an acryl- melamine thermosetting resin layer provided thereon is thermally treated to obtain a base material for transfer which comprises a resin film layer with high hardness at the surface. When a pattern is transferred under heat and pressure from an original consisting of a color copy with a pattern formed in a sublimable dye, carbon particles to not enter into the surface resin layer. Accordingly, the particles can be easily removed by simply wiping the surface with a solvent such as an alcohol after transfer, and clear patterns can be transferred. |
