PERMANENT MAGNET ERASING HEAD

摘要

PURPOSE:To form a low-priced permanent magnet erasing head with a small cross erase by equipping a resin layer including a magnetic material adjacent to the center of the magnetic tape made of the permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION:The resin layer is molded with an adhesive mixed with a powder-like magnetic material. Namely, the permanent magnet 2 is embedded in a containing hole 5b for forming a step 5a at a position corresponding to the center of the magnetic tape 3, and secured with the adhesive 6 including a magnetic material. Simultaneously the step 5a is filled with said adhesive 6. In such a way the adhesive 6 which includes a magnetic material and is packaged in the step 5a is located at the center of a protective band 3a equipped between erase and non-erase tracks 3b and 3c, converges a flux for flowing to the non-erase track and serves as reducing the cross erase.
