PURPOSE:To prevent a media face being damaged, which is caused when a slider and media are sliding, by making the 1st sliding face larger than the 2nd one. CONSTITUTION:When the media 11 rotates by holding both sliders 5 and 6, the most desirable relative relation between a hub receiving stand and both sliders 5 and 6 is that the media is always sliding between both sliders in the horizontal state. However, it is the present condition that said relation cannot be kept due to the variance of the mechanical assembly accuracy. Therefore, in order to minimize the area of the media inlet part of the 2nd sliding face, a ridge line 16 is provided. This method is to make the 2nd sliding face area smaller than that of the 2nd sliding face and the inlet area of the media smaller than the outlet area, and to scatter the stress concentration arising partially at the time of sliding a magnetic head and the media, whereby said method can minimize the media damage caused by the sliding of the media.
