<p>Accumulator batteries consistm of a block container of electrolyte-resistant material, e.g. polypropylene, composed of a block box and a block lid, and a cover plate for the pressure bungs which has at least one constriction in the transverse section as preferential rupture point. This constriction is situated at a certain distance from the free end of the cover plate and breaks, or at least opens up, when the cover plate is lifted. The block box and lid contain six cells full of electrolyte and are joined rigidly and hermetically together.</p> |
