PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition having remarkably improved stability, by adding specific amounts of hydrotalcite and a specific dihydropyridine compound to a halogen-containing resin. CONSTITUTION:100pts.(wt.) of a halogen-containing resin is compounded with (A) 0.001-3pts., preferably 0.01-1.5pts. of a dihydropyridine compound of formula I (R is alkyl, alkenyl or aryl) and (B) 0.01-10pts., preferably 0.05-5pts. of a hydrotalcite which is a water-containing double salt compound containing magnesium and aluminum and expressed by the formula II (0<x<=0.5; z is CO3 or SO4; m is real number). If necessary, the composition is further incorporated with an additive such as organic acid metal salt, organic phosphite, etc.
