PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a cleaner part or unit part of a cleaner and an image carrier by conveying the residue of a cleaned developer image into an image carrier by a conveying and storing means through a hollow support member which supports an end surface of the image carrier. CONSTITUTION:The residual developer of the visual image on a cleaned photosensitive body 10 which is deposited in a cleaner box 133 is guided to a toner storage box 117 through the rotation of a conveying auger 116, and conveyed to the side of the photosensitive body 10 by a spiral conveying auger 121 which is driven to rotate. This conveying auger 121 is inserted into the insertion hole 106 of the front flange 106 on an end surface of the photosensitive body 10 and the residual developer is carried and stored in the photosensitive body 10 through the hollow drum shaft 142 of a drum shaft flange 141 which supports the photosensitive body 10. Consequently, the unit part and the whole device are reduced in size. |
