PURPOSE:To improve an optical transmission property of the titled fiber from visible light to near IR wavelength range by incorporating a polymer obtd. from a specific styrene monomer contg. alpha,beta,beta-heavy hydrogen atoms to a core component resin. CONSTITUTION:The core component resin is the polymer obtd. from the above described styrene monomer (D3-styrene) shown by the specific formula. The monomer may contain the styrene substd. whole or partial hydrogen atoms of the benzene nucleus with the heavy hydrogen atoms and/or fluorine atoms. The core component resin may contain the polymer obtd. from the monomer shown by the formula and about 10% of a copolymerizable vinyl-monomer. The core component resin contains most preferably the monomer substd. the hydrogen atoms of the benzene nucleus with the heavy hydrogen atom and/or the fluorine atom with regard to the optical transmission, and is preferably obtd. by a block-polymerization thereof. |
