摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the wear resistance by forming a protective surface layer contg. fluorinated methyl methacrylate. CONSTITUTION:Fluorinated methyl methacrylate in a protective surface layer improves considerably the wear resistance of magnetic stripes formed by transfer and also improves the releasability during transfer. The fluorinated methyl methacrylate is prepd. by substituting F atoms for all of H atoms in methyl and methylene groups in the methacrylic acid moiety of methyl methacrylate and a methyl group in the ester moiety. It may be prepd. by substituting F atoms for H atoms in one or two groups among the three groups in accordance with the selectivity of a fluorination reaction applied and the degree of fluorination.
