PURPOSE:To make addition and correction or indicate point of attention efficiently using ordinary writing tools by providing an image pickup unit to pick up a substance placed on a transparent sheet and to create the second image signal. CONSTITUTION:The information written with ordinary writing tools on a transparent sheet 2 installed in inclining 45 deg. against the screen of the display 1 which displays the first image signal 5 is picked up by a video camera 3 to attain the second image signal 6. An input circuit 8 inputs the first image signal from the outside and adds it to an image signal combining circuit 4. The first image signal 5 and the second image signal 6 are combined by the circuit 4 to attain the third image signal 7 and displayed on a display 1. Since a sheet 2 is installed in inclining 45 deg. to the surface of the display 1, the operator can see the display 1 through the sheet 2 and at the same time, a camera 3 can pick up only the information on the sheet 2.
