摘要 PURPOSE:To provide the titled fiber having sufficiently high durability and crimping property, by using a low-shrinkage component composed essentially of nylon 46 polymer, and a high-shrinkage component composed of other fiber- forming thermoplastic polymer, and carrying out the composite spinning of the components in a manner to give a fiber containing the components positioned eccentrically along the fiber axis. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber can be produced by the composite spinning of (A) a low-shrinkage component composed of a nylon 46 polymer containing >=70mol%, preferably >=96mol% tetramethylene adipamide and (B) a high- shrinkage component composed of a fiber-forming thermoplastic polymer other than the component A (e.g. polyester, nylon 6, etc.) in a manner to give a fiber containing the components positioned eccentrically along the fiber axis. The relative viscosity of the nylon 46 polymer of the component A is preferably 2.5-4.5, and the weight ratio of the component A to the component B is preferably 40:60-60:40.
