摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the distance to the photoelectric conversion element, to decrease the thermal load and to minimize the size of device, by installing the insulating terminals at the bottom of the device and drawing out the terminals in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric conversion element 1 is mounted on the cooling bottom 4 forming the top part of an internal cylinder 2, outside which an external cylinder 3 is made. An optical window 5 is installed on the top of the external cylinder 3. An insulating terminal part 6 is made of ceramic material, and the cylindrical elements of capal 6a and 6b are adhered to the internal cylinder and the external cylinder respectively. The interal cylinder 2 and the external cylinder 3 are welded and sealed with the metal internal cylinder 2a of the lower end of the internal cylinder. The wiring pattern and the bonding region are installed on the insulator of the insulating terminal 6. Between these and the bonding regions of the bottom of the main internal cylinder, the connection wiring 12 is bonded. A terminal 8 is drawn out of the insulating terminal part 6 in the axial direction, so the external cylinder of the device is shorten, and at the same time, the distance between the end of the connecting wire 12 and the cooling bottom 4 which is the thermal conduction path via the terminals, is increased. Therefore, the thermal load is decreased and the work efficiency of assembling and wiring is improved.
