PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricating oil composed mainly of a specific halogen- containing polyether, usable in a gas such as oxygen, chlorine, etc., without explosion hazard, having low evaporation loss, and capable of maintaining the safe operation of a compressor for a long period. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricating oil is composed mainly of a halogen- containing polyether having the recurring unit of formula (a, b, c, d, e and f are 0 or positive integer; 2<=a+b+c+d+e+f<=200; a+c+d+f>=1). EFFECT:Low viscosity variation with temperature, and excellent chemical- resistance and heat-resistance. |
