PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the so-called tape squealing phenomenon for a long time by protruding the magnetic tape sliding connecting surface of the magnetic core from both side ends of the magnetic tape to the outside. CONSTITUTION:The width of up and down directions (tape width direction) of magnetic cores 4A and 4D of both up and down directions is formed larger than that of the magnetic cores 4A and 4D. In short, the up- and down-end width D of the magnetic core is larger than a magnetic tape guide width (d) regulated by the upper side arm part 7a and the lower side arm part 7a of a tape guide 7. For that reason, magnetic cores 4B and 4C at the inside are composed of a laminating body of six high magnetic permeability magnetic thin plates with the same thickness as the conventional example, the width of the tape width direction is the same as the conventional example, but, the magnetic cores 4A and 4D of both outsides are composed of the laminating body of seven magnetic thin plates with the same thickness as the above- mentioned and the width in the tape width direction as the magnetic core as a whole is formed. The magnetic tape sliding and connecting surface of the magnetic cores 4A and 4D is protruded from the both ends of the siding and connecting magnetic tape to the outside. |
