PURPOSE:To satify the responsiveness of an engine, by providing such an arrangement that the equivalent inertia moment of a flywheel is less upon high speed operation but larger upon low speed operation. CONSTITUTION:A ring gear 2, a sun gear 6 and a pinon gear 4 are arranged near to a flywheel on the crank shaft 7 side. The output shaft 8 of a transmission 11 is extended to the position of the sun gear 6 on the crank shaft 7 side. The input shaft 9 of the transmission 11 is supported to the flywheel 1 through the intermediary of a first bearing 12, and the output shaft 8 of a transmission 11 is supported to the flywheel 1 through the intermediary of a second bearing 13. Thereby, it is possible to obtain such an effect that the inertia moment of the flywheel is large upon high speed operation but is small upon low speed operation. |
