PURPOSE:To always set the sensitivity of an AE sensor to an optimum value, by storing the table, to which the optimum sensitivity data of the AE sensor is held, at every tool and storing said table in a memory means at every differ ent object to be processed. CONSTITUTION:The number corresponding to the kind of a work used at the time of input is read from an input key 14 and the data (magazine number) corresponding to the size of a tool used at said time is read. Subsequently, the drive level of a dummy breakage signal generator 4 corresponding to the size of said tool is imparted to a drive circuit 5 to transmit a dummy breakage signal to an AE sensor 6. The AE signal thereof is transmitted to an AE signal processing part 7 and CPU9 while CPU9 adjusts the signal level of the AE sensor 6 on the basis of the amplifying ratio of a variable amplifying ratio amplifier to check whether the outlet level thereof is proper and the amplifying ratio is properly adjusted. Thus obtained optimum amplifying ratio is stored in the predetermined region of RAM11 along with the magazine number. Similar processing is repeated by the other tool and the tool number and sensitivity table with respect to a work A are stored in RAM11 and a sensitivity table is completed with respect to all works. |
