发明名称 PRESSURE FIXING MECHANISM OF THERMAL HEAD
摘要 PURPOSE:To make the wiring of power source to a carriage unnecessary and to achieve the simplification of structure and the small capacity and miniaturization of power source circuit, by a method wherein the energized inclination movement of a thermal head is controlled with a spring by utilizing the pivoting of a lever corresponding to the transfer of carriage. CONSTITUTION:In the state given by the full line D, one end 17a of a link 17 abuts against the top part of the long hole 15 of a lever 14. The energized movement in inclined on a platen 1 side, of a thermal head 9 by a compression spring 13 is restrained by the lever 14 and a thermal head 9 is not fixed to the platen 1 by pressure. In the state given by the two-dot chain line E, the long hole 15 of lever 14 is shifted upward and the restraining of the energized inclination movement of spring 13 by the lever 14 is gradually released. The thermal head 9 is fixed to the platen 1 by pressure at a position of this side before a cam follower 16 reaches the printing region B of a cam plate 12. In the state given by the broken line F, the one end 17a of link 17 is separated from the end part of long hole 15 and the head 9 is fixed to the platen 1 by pressur following only the energizing force of spring 13. Therefore, the conventional necessity of equipping a solenoid to a carriage is removed.
