PURPOSE:To enable the testing of a large number of specimens by set/one cool-down, by mounting a specimen receiving part for receiving specimens so as to stack the same in a multistage fashion and a drive part for successively feeding out the stacked specimens to a test part. CONSTITUTION:When a specimen extruding rod 12 is pushed down from the ambient temp. part outside a cryostat, a push pin 13 is moved to the direction shown by the arrow A through pulleys 16, 17 and one of stacked specimens 6 at the lowermost stage is moved on supports to reach just under a load applying rod 3 and fixed to a constant position by a leaf spring 15. When the push rod 12 is returned to the original position, the push pin 13 is also returned to the original position and the specimens in a specimen receiving part are lowered to the support base part under their own wts. The specimen set just under the load applying rod 3 by this mechanism receives a flexural test by the falling of the load applying rod 3 and, when the specimen push rod 12 is again pushed down, the next specimen is moved just under the load applying rod 3 and the specimen after testing is further pushed leftwardly to be fallen to the direction shown by the arrow B. |
