PURPOSE:To prevent the upward separation of recording paper from electrodes by providing a paper press guide roller to any one of a paper feeding roller and a paper tension roller. CONSTITUTION:In a non-contact type ink dot printer, an electrode 47 is held on an electrode holder 48 in the face of a printing head 13. The electrode 47 made of copper has an insulator film of polyimide resin on its contact face to be touched by a recording paper 12. A pair of paper press guide rollers 49 to closely join the paper 12 with the electrode 47 are provided on upside and downside of the electrode 47. A paper feeding roller 50 and a paper tension roller 51 are set on the upside and downside of the guide rollers 49. The contact portion to be provided by the paper 12 of the roller 40 is positioned farther from a needle 24 rather than the face of the electrode 47 in such a way that the paper 12 is always pressingly contacted with the electrode 47. The surface potential of the paper can thus be kept constant to stabilize the forming condi tion of dots. Fixed dots can be formed. |
