PURPOSE:To cut off a gate portion of a molding by providing a process to turn a resin path in the circumferential direction in a cooling process or a mold opening process. CONSTITUTION:Molten resin F cast into a cavity 24 is hardened by cooling in the cavity 24. A parting line PL is then opened, and an ejector pin 25 is pushed out to separate a molding from the cavity 24. During the cooling process or at the beginning of the mold opening process, a rack 18 is moved, a pinion 17 is turned, and an insulator 14 is turned circumferentially. Whereupon, the resin F being hardened by cooling is cut by shearing by being turned at the gate portion 4a and separated at the time of demolding. Molding having good finish and gate trace free of such defects as delamination, etc., can thus be obtained. |
