PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing glycyrrhezic acid, quillaia saponin and water as essential components, containing glycyrrhezic acid having pharmacological effects such as anti-inflammatory effect and antiulcer effect, etc. at a high concentration by the solubilization effect of quillaia saponin, and usable safely as a medicine, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains glycyrrhezic acid, guillaia saponin and water as essential components, wherein the glycyrrhezic acid is solubilized with quillaia saponin and contained in high concentration. Glycyrrhezic acid is an aglicon of glycyrrhizic acid which is a triterpenoid glycoside existing in the root of Glycyrrhiza glabra, and can be synthesized by hydrolyzing glycyrrhizic acid. Quillaia saponin is a saponin existing in the rosin of Quillaia saponalia mol. The amount of the quillaia saponin necessary for the stable solubilization of glycyrrhezic acid is about >=1pt.(wt.), preferably about 8-40pts. per 1pt. of glycyrrhezic acid. |
