PURPOSE:To adjust oil level in the bottom of a sealed container by abstracting oil stored in the bottom of the sealed container out of it and injecting the oil via and oil cooler and a throttle device into the suction chamber of a compressor section and a compression space during compression, by using differential pressure between pressure inside the sealed container and that of the suction chamber or the compression space. CONSTITUTION:A sealed container 1 houses a scroll compressor section 2 at its upper inside and an electric motor section 3 at its lower inside, and oil 24 stored at the bottom of the sealed container 1 is taken out of the container by using differential pressure between pressure inside the sealed container and that of a compression space, and then the oil is injected from an oil extraction pipe 30 to compression spaces 2a, 2b via oil filling pipes 31a, 31b after flowing through an oil cooler 33 and a throttle device 35. This can always make sure cooling action as well as adjust level of the oil 24 to the proper height.
