<p>PURPOSE:To enable to print with uniform density, by a construction wherein a plurality of LED arrays, driving elements for the LED arrays, and driving time controlling elements for controlling the driving time so as to uniformize light emission outputs are provided on the same substrate. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of the LED arrays 7 comprising LED elements arranged in series with each other, the driving elements 8 respectively for the arrays, and the driving time controlling elements 9 are provided on the substrate 6 provided with printed patterns, and one of time-controlling elements 10 in each of the elements 9 is connected to an earth pattern 11 on the substrate 6 by wire bonding in accordance with the average light emission range of the relevant LED array 7, whereby the light emission ranges of all of the LED arrays 7 in the printing head are controlled with 1/2<n> as a unit. Accordingly, a small-type inexpensive optical printing head capable of printing with uniform density can be obtained.</p> |
